For me, 2017 was a tumbleweed ride with starting a new job, moving to a new state, and getting my first book picked up by Finishing Line Press for publication. I am so pleased that 2018 has greeted me with the news that by book is not available on Amazon for purchase and that I am now holding a physical copy of my book in my hand!
2018 promises to be filled with poetry readings and the delight of knowing that poetry lovers will be enjoying my book in dusky corners of rooms sipping coffee and brooding over the language of poetry as well as the difficult by necessary topic I chose to write about.
"White Goat Black Sheep" is a lyric poem divided into sections and it reads like a lullaby from one sister to another as both of these sisters wrestle with the traumatic aftermath of sexual assault. While dark and visceral, the poetry is also raw, sensual, and esoteric, probing deep emotional and psychological trauma.
If you haven't grabbed your copy already, I invite you to copy this direct Amazon link into your browser and get your copy soon!
